Prime Music Institute has been teaching in Epping since 2017. Our students range from young beginners through to teens preparing for HSC and AMEB exams, and plenty of adults coming back to an instrument after years away.

Where is Prime Music Institute located?
We are based at 89a Wyralla Ave, Epping NSW 2121. Our studio serves families across Epping, Eastwood, Carlingford, Beecroft, North Epping and the surrounding northern Sydney suburbs.
Which instruments do you teach?
Violin, viola and cello (strings), piano, and flute, clarinet and oboe (woodwinds).
What ages do you accept?
All ages — beginners through advanced students, including children, teens and adults.
Do you prepare students for HSC Music?
Yes. We provide focused preparation for HSC Music 2 and Music Extension, including tailored repertoire, performance coaching and exam strategy.
Are lessons private or group?
We offer both — 1:1 private tuition and ensemble/group sessions, with flexible scheduling.
How much do lessons cost?
Private 1-on-1 lessons are $60 for 30 minutes, $90 for 45 minutes, and $120 for 60 minutes. AMEB / HSC exam accompaniment is also available — see the full lessons & pricing page.

Who teaches at Prime Music Institute?
Founder Sooa Chae (Sydney Conservatorium of Music — Piano Performance scholarship) leads a team of conservatorium-trained tutors: Jay Cho (Piano), Jared Atherton (Violin), Alison (Flute & Piano), Kourosh Nadery (Viola, Violin, Clarinet & Guitar) and Rhatwo Fatinasa Pasaribu (Violin & Piano).
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
